Members of the Rutgers Community:
As the Future of Work Task Force works to develop its recommendations, we invite members of the university community to participate in a series of virtual listening tours. The purpose of these sessions is to listen to and learn from our faculty, staff, and students. Your diverse experiences, views, and recommendations regarding the future of work at Rutgers University will help us better understand the evolving needs of our employees and the communities we serve. We will use what we learn to make recommendations that support our goals of becoming a more resilient, competitive, and inclusive organization.
There will be three, 1½ hour online listening sessions:
- Thursday, February 17, 4:30 to 6 p.m. (session now closed)
- Friday, February 25, 1 to 2:30 p.m. (session now closed)
- Tuesday, March 1, 10 to 11:30 a.m. (session now closed)
Your voices, experiences, and views about the future of work are valuable and we want to hear from as many of you as possible. We encourage all supervisors to be flexible in allowing employees to attend during work hours. To allow for as many comments as possible, these will be listening sessions, not question and answer sessions.
Registration is required and participation is voluntary. Attendees must sign up during registration to speak. Speakers will be limited to two (2) minutes. Anyone who does not wish to speak during the session will have the opportunity to submit comments during the registration process for the task force members to review.
To register, please visit https://futureofwork.rutgers.edu.
We look forward to hearing from you and hope you can join us.
Sincerely,
Vivian Fernández
